What Can AI Smart Glasses Do? Everything Neuraglass Does Today
Translation, visual answers, tasks, voice photo editing, hands-free capture, and an app builder. What the Neuraglass Dev Kit does today and what isn't ready yet.
The Neuraglass Dev Kit is on sale now for $849. This page lists what it does today, what isn't ready yet, and what comes in the box, so you know exactly what you're buying.

What it does today
Translate conversations, menus, and signs
Sit across from someone who speaks another language. What they say shows up in your language, right where you're looking. Menus and signs work the same way. You don't have to pick up your phone. The companion app handles the other direction, so the conversation works both ways.
Ask about what you're looking at
Eliza is the AI assistant built into Neuraglass. It sees through the camera, so you can look at something and just ask: what is this, how does it work, what does it say. The answer comes from what the glasses can see.
Hand off tasks to Helix
Helix is an agent that works through apps for you. You ask for something once, and it handles the searching, comparing, writing and sending an email, booking travel, or filling out a form. Check what it books or sends before it goes out.
Edit photos by saying what to change
Take a photo, then say what should change: a clean background, warmer light, a tighter crop. There's no editing app to open and nothing to tap.
Capture hands-free
The 16MP camera sits on the frame, so photos and video are exactly what you saw, taken without stopping what you were doing.
Build your own apps
Describe the app you want and the app builder makes it. It's already wired to Eliza and Helix, so there's no backend to set up, and it launches on the glasses. If you'd rather write code, apps are standard Android apps in Java or Kotlin. See how to build an Android app for smart glasses.
What isn't ready yet
- Prescription lenses. Not available at launch. We're working with lab partners and will share options later. A sunglasses clip-on comes in the box.
- Developer APIs for Eliza and Helix. Both work on the glasses, but they aren't open to third-party apps yet.
- Shipping outside the US and Canada. Not available yet.
- A finished consumer product. The Dev Kit is early hardware for developers and early adopters, and the software will keep changing. The consumer Neuraglass comes next. It'll be lighter, built for all-day wear, and run the same apps.
